Five components, one service
You place the components where you want them. They render semantic HTML and take their look from the website’s own style sheets. Everything is configured in the SiteClue administration. Which components are included depends on the plan, see Pricing.
Recommendations
A list with title and lead, for example at the end of content pages. Suggestions are based on what the page is about, where other visitors usually go next and what is in demand right now – snow clearing in winter, beaches in summer.
Quick links
Compact links to what people look for most, for home and landing pages. Editors can pin promotions to fixed positions and set fallback links that show if the service does not respond.
Search suggestions
Suggestions in the website’s existing search box while the visitor types. The search engine and results page stay as they are: Enter submits the search as usual. Hits from external sources, such as e-services, are labelled with the source. Fully usable with keyboard and screen reader.

The visitor asks a question in their own words and gets an answer from the website’s own pages: an answer an editor wrote, or one to three verbatim extracts with a link straight to the passage on the page. The service writes no answers of its own to visitors’ questions, so it cannot claim anything the website does not say.

Prepared questions with short answers on a single page. A language model in our own hosting suggests questions and answers from the page’s text, each answer is checked automatically against the passage it is based on, and an editor approves before anything is shown. The answer is marked as AI-generated and the source passage can be shown verbatim.
How it works
SiteClue is a standalone service. It reads your website the way a search engine does, and the components fetch their content from the service when the page is shown. Nothing in your CMS needs replacing.
We read in the website
SiteClue starts from your sitemap and follows links within the parts you choose, respecting robots.txt. Menus and footers are removed. Pages are split into passages and paragraphs, and a language model running in our own hosting computes what each passage means (embeddings). Changes are picked up every hour from the sitemap and every night, and with the Sitevision webapp also when a page is published.
You add the components
Paste a script snippet into an HTML module, or have your Sitevision partner install our webapp. The components load asynchronously: if SiteClue does not respond, your fallback links are shown and the page works as usual.
The widget asks our API
When a page is shown, the widget asks the SiteClue API. Content is ranked by how close it is to the page in meaning, where visitors usually go next, what is in demand on the same kind of device, time of day and season, and your own rules – for example that news younger than 30 days should rank higher.
Your editors are in control
In the administration you decide where components appear, which parts of the site must never be suggested, promotions and their validity, synonyms, rules and weights. Statistics show views and clicks, and in the Pro plan also search terms and questions without a good answer.
Privacy and security
SiteClue works without personal data about visitors. That is how the service is built, not a setting.
No cookies, no visitor id
The visit’s last five pages are kept in the browser’s sessionStorage and disappear when the tab is closed.
The IP address is never stored
It is turned into a county at request time and is stored neither in the database nor in the web server logs.
All data and all AI models in the EU
Crawling, embeddings, search and generated questions run in our own hosting in the EU. No text, search term or question is sent to an external AI service or to a third country.
Search terms are cleaned
Email addresses, Swedish personal identity numbers, phone numbers, card numbers and vehicle registration numbers are removed in the widget and again on the server. A term is suggested to others only after it has been used at least five times, and raw search terms are deleted after 90 days.
WCAG 2.1 AA
The components follow WCAG 2.1 AA and are tested automatically with axe, keyboard and screen-reader patterns.

Information security is documented according to KLASSA, the Swedish municipal framework: policy, roles, access, incidents, continuity and suppliers.
You own your data
All your data can be exported at any time as CSV or JSON in the administration, in every plan. In Standard and Pro also via the API with a key you create yourselves.
Payment without visitor data
Payment happens on Stripe’s own payment page. Stripe only receives billing details about your organisation and contact person, never website content, search terms or visitor data.
This website sets no cookies, has no analytics and loads nothing from other servers.
Works with Sitevision – and any other CMS
Sitevision webapp
Your Sitevision partner installs the webapp once. Editors then pick a component from a list, like any other module. Everything is configured in the SiteClue administration, so the webapp never has to be reinstalled when something changes. The list and the publish signal use an API key and are included in Standard and Pro.
A script snippet for everything else
For other CMSs, or pages in Sitevision, you add a placeholder and a script tag. This works in every plan. The fallback links inside the placeholder are shown if the service does not respond.
REST API
In Standard and Pro your partner can build their own integrations on the documented REST API, and fetch statistics with your own API key.

Questions about pricing and contracts
How does the trial work?
You try SiteClue free for 14 days from when you activate the account with the link in the email, with no card and no commitment. Everything in Pro is included, API keys too, so that a Sitevision customer can try the webapp. We read one website with up to 1,000 pages. When the trial ends SiteClue is no longer shown on the website, but the administration and your settings remain. If you choose a plan we read the rest of the website. Otherwise the account is deleted with all its data 30 days after the trial ended.
How do we pay?
By card or invoice through Stripe, monthly or for a full year. Neither has any commitment. You can cancel at any time under Manage subscription in the administration, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for. You can also download receipts and invoices there.
Can we change plan?
Yes, under Manage subscription in the administration. If you move down a plan nothing is deleted: questions, promotions and API keys are kept but not used, and come back if you move up again. You can always export your data, in every plan.
What data does Stripe receive?
Only billing details about your organisation and contact person – never website content, search terms or visitor data. The payment page is Stripe’s own and is hosted by Stripe. This website loads nothing from Stripe.
What are the contract terms?
The subscription runs one month or one year at a time, as you choose, and renews until you cancel it. A data processing agreement is included, since the service processes your administrators’ accounts and cleaned search terms. If you need a contract of your own, for example after a direct award, get in touch.
